Sane Cinema Founder Louise Johansen and producer Christine Guenther are trailblazers in mental health, known for their workshops at Cannes, Karlovy Vary, and beyond, promoting well-being and a sane work life in "the industry." Joining them is Lena Stolby, a talented stand-up comedian and founder of Comedy Therapy, who doesn’t just think it’s okay to laugh at our problems—she insists on it. Here’s how it works:
On day one, participants anonymously drop their problems in a box. On day two, after a brief intro from Louise & Christine, Lena joins in, and together they tackle the issues with a unique blend of practical advice and punchlines

Christine Guenther, co-founder of the transatlantic outfit Fireglory Pictures, has built a diverse producing career in independent films and high-end series, with her work spanning over 20 countries and years.
By day, Christine is a seasoned producer and a storyteller at heart; by life, she is a devoted practitioner and advocate of traditional Yoga and meditation. With over 20 years of deep, daily practice, Christine seamlessly integrates the focus and clarity from the mat & cushion into her work.
For Christine, mindfulness isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the guiding force that enables her to balance the fast-paced demands of "the industry" with her commitment to sustainable production, responsible leadership, and the right livelihood. She advocates for a saner, healthier, more sustainable, and regenerative industry ecosystem, sharing her insights through guest lectures at institutions like the Film University of Babelsberg and the Erich Pommer Institute in Berlin. Additionally, she leads workshops for international training programs and festivals and serves on the International Committee of the Producers Guild of America.
